VINANSIA.COM - Indonesia’s government has earmarked Rp9.19 trillion for the development of its new capital, Nusantara (IKN), in 2025. This funding will primarily support several key infrastructure projects as outlined by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR).
Key Projects Funded
Core Government Area Development: Continued infrastructure enhancements in the core government zone, including access roads.
Access Road Construction: Improvements to road access within the core government area and surrounding regions.
Sepaku Ring Road Phase 2: Development of the second phase of the Sepaku ring road and feeder roads.
VVIP Airport Construction: Building facilities for a VIP airport, including runway and access improvements.
Housing Infrastructure: Completion of 47 towers of residential apartments for civil servants and military personnel.
Water and Waste Management: Establishment of primary and secondary distribution networks for clean water and wastewater systems.
Public Facilities: Construction of schools, markets, and healthcare centers in residential areas for civil servants.
