VINANSIA.COM - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) announced that by August 2024, 55 companies have invested a total of Rp56.2 trillion in the new capital city (IKN).

The government has set a target of Rp100 trillion in investments for IKN by the end of 2024. With the current achievement, there remains a target of Rp43.8 trillion to be met.

Jokowi detailed that among the 55 investment projects in IKN, 14 involve office and banking developments, while 10 projects are in the retail and logistics sectors.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) further detailed that among the 55 investment projects in IKN, there are 9 in residential and green areas, 8 in hospitality, 6 in education, 3 in healthcare, 3 in media and technology, and 2 in energy and transportation.

“As of today, I also want to point out that, aside from the budget from the state budget (APBN), the investments already in IKN amount to Rp56.2 trillion from 55 projects that have reached groundbreaking."
