VINANSIA.COM - Basuki Hadimuljono, Acting Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN), has confirmed the readiness of Indonesia's new capital city, Nusantara, for presidential and ministerial relocations. Basuki highlighted that essential infrastructure, including airports, offices, residential buildings, and water supply, is now operational.
He noted that the runway at Nusantara's airport has reached 2,100 meters, nearing the required 2,200 meters, with taxiways and aprons completed.
Additionally, offices for several ministries and 14 residential towers for civil servants are ready, accommodating up to 1,800 individuals. Basuki assured that the water supply has been operational since the Independence Day celebrations. "Everything is ready, including the water supply for administrative activities," he added.
