VINANSIA.COM - Acting Head of the Capital City Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono ensured that seven office buildings of the Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko) in the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN) will be ready for use during the upcoming Indonesian Independence Day celebration on August 17.
These buildings will accommodate officers and ceremony participants.
"We will have a total of 7 towers functioning around the ceremony field along the national axis," said Basuki during a press conference at the State Palace on Thursday (August 1, 2024).
Basuki explained that these buildings have already been supplied with water, making them ready for occupancy by ceremony participants and officers.
"So, God willing, everything has been prepared including additional electricity, water, and toilets as per the ceremony participants planned by the Ministry of State Secretariat," he said.
The construction of the Coordinating Ministry office buildings consists of 4 office complexes. Each complex houses 4 office towers, totaling 16 office buildings prepared for civil servants who will be stationed in IKN.
However, the completion of these office buildings will be phased, with the target to finish all by the end of 2024 and be used as new offices for civil servants assigned to IKN.
"For the August 17th event, Kemenko 1 will use 1 tower, Kemenko 2 has 1 tower, Kemenko 3 has 2 towers, and Kemenko 4 has 3 towers, making a total of 7 towers operational around the ceremony field along the national axis," Basuki added.
