VINANSIA.COM - PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL) has announced an ambitious expansion plan for 2024.

The company aims to inaugurate four new hospitals, marking a significant step in its strategy to enhance competitiveness and broaden its network across Indonesia.

Locations and Opening Schedule

The four new hospitals are strategically located in Madiun, Pasuruan, the new capital city Nusantara (IKN), and Jakarta. The first two, RS Hermina Madiun and RS Hermina Pasuruan, are slated to commence operations in the first half of 2024. The RS Hermina in Nusantara is set to open by August 2024, just before the Independence Day celebrations in the new capital.

Meanwhile, the RS Hermina in Jakarta, located in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, will be operational by the fourth quarter of 2024, aligning with the planned opening of the PIK 2 toll entrance.

Budget and Investment

To support this expansion, HEAL has allocated a capital expenditure (capex) budget of IDR 1.5 trillion for 2024. This budget will cover the construction of the four new hospitals, including the IDR 650 billion investment required for the facility in Nusantara. This investment aligns with HEAL's strategy to bolster healthcare infrastructure across Indonesia.

Performance and Growth

HEAL has demonstrated strong performance in recent years. By the end of September 2023, the company reported a net profit of IDR 348.84 billion, a 42.07% increase from the previous year. Revenue also rose by 16.13% to IDR 4.22 trillion, with hospital segment revenue reaching IDR 2.61 trillion.

Long-Term Expansion Strategy
HEAL's goal of establishing 52 hospitals by the end of 2024 underscores its commitment to expanding its healthcare network in Indonesia.

This expansion strategy is designed to enhance the company's competitive edge and meet the growing healthcare needs of the Indonesian population.

In conclusion, Medikaloka Hermina’s plan to open four new hospitals in 2024 represents a strategic move to increase healthcare access and expand its hospital network across Indonesia.
