VINANSIA.COM - Christopher Sumasto is not a new name in the property and real estate business. He is the son of conglomerate Adi Sumasto Tjia, the founder of the Jatra hotel network operating in Bali, Pekanbaru, and Balikpapan.
Currently, Christopher serves as the President Director of PT Bima Sakti Pertiwi Tbk. (PAMG), a property and real estate issuer managing Mal Pekanbaru. He holds 2.13 billion shares of PAMG, equivalent to 68.24 percent, making him the controlling shareholder.
Born in Jakarta on June 17, 1974, Christopher began his education at SD Baptis Jakarta in 1985 and continued at Saint Patrick School in Singapore, graduating in 1989. He then moved to New York and attended Seward Park High School, graduating in 1992, followed by Kingsborough College New York in 1997.
Aside from his role as President Director of PAMG, he holds strategic positions in several companies. These include President Director of Panca Sutji Jaya since 2014, President Director of Visi Kota Indonesia since 2015, President Director of PT Gatra Nusantara Prima since 2015, and President Director of Batam Mulya Propertindo since 2017.
Christopher also controls PT PAM Metalindo with a 70.01 percent share ownership. PT PAM Metalindo is the majority shareholder of nickel mining issuer PT PAM Mineral Tbk. (NICL).
Christoper also owner of Nusantara Superblock in Capital City (IKN), East Kalimantan.
