Vinansia.com- Ahead of the month of the Prophet Muhammad's birth (Rabiul Awal), Rumah Zakat showed concern for others by helping local farmers.

Rumah Zakat bought around four quintals of vegetables directly from farmers and traders who have difficulty selling their crops.

Some of the vegetables purchased included tomatoes, cabbage, pakcoy, cayenne pepper, curly chili, long beans, cucumber, and kale.

The vegetables were then distributed free of charge to people in need around Selaawi Village, Cipancar Village, Serangpanjang District, Subang Regency.

The purpose of this vegetable distribution is to help residents, especially housewives who have difficulty meeting their daily needs.

Mrs. Neneng, one of the beneficiaries, was grateful for this initiative.

"Incidentally, I don't have any vegetables to cook today. This is the first time someone has distributed free vegetables. Thank you Rumah Zakat, I received the vegetables, and I pray that Rumah Zakat will be more blessed and get the best rewards. Aamiin," said Mrs. Neneng. Sunday (15/09)

With this initiative, Rumah Zakat hopes to ease the burden on the community while supporting the affected farmers in selling their crops.
