This groundbreaking service, supported by NVIDIA, marks a significant step forward in advancing digital transformation and enhancing national competitiveness in the artificial intelligence (AI) era.

The launch event, held at the Kempinski Hotel in Jakarta, was attended by prominent figures including Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, and Minister of Communication and Informatics, Budi Arie Setiadi. Both officials voiced their strong support for the initiative, which is expected to accelerate AI technology adoption across various industries.

Commitment to National Digitization

Lintasarta, in collaboration with NVIDIA, has developed the Sovereign AI Cloud specifically designed to meet Indonesia's supercomputing needs. This technology delivers high-performance AI capabilities through NVIDIA's H100 SXM Tensor Core, supporting applications in machine learning, rendering, and computer-aided design (CAD).

The launch event also saw the presence of representatives from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), SKK Migas, as well as technology leaders from various companies, including Vikram Sinha, CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, and Deb Goswami from NVIDIA.

GPU Merdeka offers high-performance AI cloud services with high-density data centers capable of handling heavy workloads such as generative AI, machine learning, and industrial applications like TNavigator in the oil and gas sector. The infrastructure supports up to 20 kW per rack and features data center connectivity of 3.2 Tbps, ensuring exceptional speed and efficiency.

Additionally, GPU Merdeka customers will benefit from internet speeds up to 100 Gbps and DDoS protection to secure data. With NVIDIA GPUDirect support, the service provides direct access to storage, enhancing overall performance.
