VINANSIA.COM - The 2025 infrastructure budget of Rp400.3 trillion will be strategically allocated across several key sectors under President-elect Prabowo Subianto’s administration.

In the basic services and food sector, funding will cover the construction of 3,884 apartment units and 596 specialized housing units. Additionally, it will support the development of 80 educational facilities at various levels and invest in clean water systems with a capacity of 773 liters per second, alongside irrigation projects spanning 2,000 hectares of new development and 15,000 hectares of rehabilitation.

For connectivity and transportation, the budget will facilitate the construction of 159.1 kilometers of national roads and 207.8 kilometers of toll roads, along with new bridges totaling 4,993.4 meters and flyovers or underpasses extending 1,552.0 meters. It also includes the development of airports at 5 locations, ferry ports at 10 locations, and seaports at 39 locations.

In the energy and electrification sector, the budget will fund the construction of a natural gas pipeline from Cirebon to Semarang, the ongoing development of 18 dams, and the provision of new electricity connections for 130,000 households.

The ICT infrastructure segment will see investments in digital broadcasting systems (DBS) at 6 locations, expanded internet access at 36,830 public service sites, and the operation of the multifunctional Satria-1 satellite with a capacity of 150 Gbps.
